What we do
Our approach
HAFAFRICA is a nonprofit organization founded in Ghana to improve the lives of children and young people in Ghana and advance the empowerment of women across the continent.
We work directly, and/or alongside local partners, schools, chiefs and health professionals, in underserved communities in Ghana to tackle extreme poverty in three main ways:
-
Integrated Education and Healthcare Initiatives
We implement integrated programs that address the intersection of education and healthcare, focusing on preventive measures, early intervention, and holistic support for children, youth, and women.
-
Community-Based Partnerships and Collaborations
We forge partnerships and collaborations with local communities, government agencies, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and other nonprofit organizations to leverage resources, expertise, and networks.
-
Youth and Women Empowerment Programs with a Focus on Leadership Development
We design and implement youth and women empowerment programs that prioritize leadership development, skills training, mentorship, and entrepreneurship opportunities.
